In this episode, Megan Eatman talks with members of the Digital Writing and Research Lab's Digital Archiving Group and a co-chair of the Rappaport Center's Human Rights and Archives Working Group to learn more about their approaches to, and struggles with, archiving. The recently-created Digital Archiving Group was tasked with building an archive of the Digital Writing and Research Lab's nearly 30-year history. In their interview, project group leader Cole Wehrle and project group member Sarah Frank discuss the challenges of building an archive from a wide variety of digital and physical materials. Then, Dr. Charlotte Nunes discusses her work with the Human Rights and Archives Working Group. Charlotte describes how scholars can read existing archives in a more radical way and incorporate archives into their teaching.
