Jody Shipka is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and the author of Toward a Composition Made Whole. In this interview, she shares with UT's Steven LeMieux some strategies she has used with students and reflects on the resistance her strategies have engendered among some of her colleagues.
